Alex’s 11th Movie Birthday Party

I recently received these party photos from Pam, who held a Movie Birthday Party for her granddaughter’s 11th Birthday party. I think she might be in the running for grandmother of the year!

Movie Birthday Party Cupcakes

Pam used my Movie Party Printables to help decorate her Movie Birthday Party. Take a look at her creative ideas for some inspiration.

Pam made popcorn cupcakes but ended up using commercial popcorn boxes with actual popcorn to save a bit of time!  Pam used the cupcake toppers from my party printables.

Movie Party Invitation

Pam sent out my clapboard style Movie Birthday Party Invitations together with an Admit One ticket, which she edited to include text asking for the tickets to be brought to the party for admission and to receive an entry gift.

The welcome gifts were handed out by her granddaughters at the party and were little star hairclips handmade by Pam. What a lovely idea!

Oscar Awards Movie Birthday Party

And I love this idea! Pam’s grand daughter came up with idea of having a little presentation ceremony. Look at the different categories they chose! For the medals she used my printable large 5 inch circle and typed in the different categories.

Milk Chocolate Oscars

The Oscars were actually milk chocolate that Pam handmade from a Oscar mold and dusted with edible gold glitter!

Movie Birthday Party Cake

The clapboard from the Invitation served as a template for the Movie Birthday Party Cake. Pam made one out of fondant and based the colors & stars etc around the Movie Party Printables. Wow!

You can’t have a Movie Birthday Party without lots of traditional movie candy!

Pam also customized my printable banner to decorate the party table.

The party favors look amazing too. Pam made star shaped bath bombs for the take home gift.

Pam used the Admit One tickets again here by typing in a little message to pop inside the bags with the bath bombs and printed the reverse side with the main ingredients on and stuck the 2 pieces together. She packaged them up with the Treat Bag Toppers and Thank You Notes.

Thanks for all the party inspiration Pam! My 11 year old is now keen to have her own “Oscars” Movie Birthday Party!

You can find the Movie Party Printables that Pam used here in my shop.
